What The Stirring Rod records, what it does not, and how to ask for anything held about you.

Service page · edition of

This desk records as little as it can and explains here what that means in practice.

What is recorded

The site is served as static pages. There is no account, no comment form and no shopping basket, so there is nothing to log in to and nothing to buy. The host records the requests needed to serve a page, including an address and a user agent, for security and for counting traffic. That record is held by the host and is not read by this desk.

What is not recorded

No profile of a reader is built and no reader is followed from one site to another. There is no advertising code, no tracking pixel and no third-party analytics script on these pages. Nothing typed into a letter is used for any purpose other than answering it.

Letters

A letter sent to contact@cdarbiodynamic.org is kept while the question it carries is open, and while a correction it produced remains in a note. It is not added to a list, not shared and not used to write to you again unless you ask for an answer.

Asking about what is held

To ask what is held about you, or to have a letter deleted, write to contact@cdarbiodynamic.org and say what you are asking for. The request is answered within thirty days. Where a letter is the only record of a correction that a published note still relies on, the correction stays and the letter is deleted.

Changes to this page

If the way this site handles anything described here changes, this page changes on the same day and its date moves.
